Published by More Maximum Media, Maritime Review Africa was launched in 2002 as a niche B2B print magazine for the maritime industries on the continent. We transitioned to become a predominantly digital media platform in 2021 due to the impact of COVID-19 and difficulties associated with distribution, but continue
to prioritise access to maritime information.
We aim to provide a holistic overview of what is happening within Africa’s blue economy as well as to offer informative insights and opinions on the issues facing the growth of the industry on the continent. Our coverage includes company news, event updates, opportunities, legislation and more – and we welcome submissions from the greater maritime community.
Most of the content we deliver is freely available, but premium content such as textbooks, tender alerts and reports are available to our partners and subscribers only. Our aim is to maintain as much free content as possible in order to promote the access to information of new entrants in the blue economy and foster dialogue.
Maritime Review Africa does not subscribe to sensationalism. We provide nuanced coverage of global events influencing the maritime industries on the African continent.
